Built in 1895, Main Street Inn is an integral mainstay in the Tarboro National Register Historic District. Walk through the Town Common, one of two originally chartered Commons remaining in the United States. Visit with neighbors and guests on the grand neo-classical porch, complete with ionic columns, round pergola, white rockers and the original "courting swing".

Each guest room is comfortably appointed with a king size bed, leather seating, original heart pine floors, cable TV, wireless internet and a private marble bath. Common rooms are located on the first floor and include a library, parlors, and an inviting dining room.
